Rouan handles your data with care. On this page you can read which data we process through this website, why, and what your rights are. Last updated: 3 October 2026.
Rouan is a full-service agency for web design and development, marketing, branding and AI automation. Rouan is responsible for the processing of your data through rouan.agency. Questions about privacy? Email info@rouan.agency.
Contact form. Your name, email address, the services and budget you indicate, and your message. We use this to respond to your request and to prepare a proposal.
AI scan. The web address you enter and the public content of that page. The scan reads the page, measures its speed and writes up improvements. We keep the result for 24 hours, so the same website does not have to be scanned again. We use your IP address for at most two days to limit abuse (a maximum number of scans per day).
Full report. If you request the full report after the scan, we receive your email address together with the scan result. We only use this to send you the report and to email you about it once. You will not be added to a newsletter.
Booking a call. If you book a call through the calendar on the contact page, Cal.com processes your name, email address and the time you choose.
We process your data because you ask us to (a request, a scan, a report or an appointment) and because we have a legitimate interest in protecting the website against abuse.
This website uses no tracking cookies and no advertising scripts. We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies and without us being able to recognise you as a person: we only see numbers, such as how many people visit a page and how often a form is sent. If you choose a language other than your browser's, a functional cookie remembers that choice until you close the browser. The Cal.com calendar may place functional cookies that are needed to book an appointment.
We never sell your data. We work with a number of service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Vercel: hosting and visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics).
- Resend: sending email from the forms.
- Anthropic: the AI analysis of the page you have scanned. Your email address is not sent there.
- Google PageSpeed Insights: the speed measurement of the web address you enter.
- Upstash: temporary storage of scan results and the limit per IP address.
- Cal.com: scheduling appointments.
- Hostinger: our email.
Some of these parties are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. They process data under the safeguards that apply, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
- Scan results: 24 hours.
- IP address for the scan limit: at most 48 hours.
- Requests through the contact form and report requests: at most 12 months after the last contact, unless you become a client. In that case we keep what is needed for our work together and for the statutory record-keeping obligation.
You may view your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to the processing and request your data to take with you. Email info@rouan.agency and we will respond within a month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We update this policy when the website or the way we work changes. The current version is always on this page.
